Hi. IMHO the documentation (http://www.davical.org/installation.php) on how to configure apache/php could be improved a bit: a) if you have: DocumentRoot /usr/share/davical/htdocs then Alias /images/ /usr/share/davical/htdocs/images/ should be needless. b) DirectoryIndex index.php index.html I don't see why index.html is required. It's not part of the davical package. c) include_path /usr/share/awl/inc Is this the only required? Or is Debian's default: .:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear required, too? d) magic_quotes_gpc, register_globals Perhaps one should drop these, or note at least, that the values you set are now default anyway. e) default_charset Is this really required, or do the php scripts already set the Content-Encoding?
