A few extra items: 0: lintian auto-rejection may need to be modified for Emdebian Grip uploads. I have a lintian profile which I've been using with Emdebian packages : # The default profile for Emdebian Grip Profile: emdebian-grip/main Extends: debian/main Disable-Tags: debian-changelog-file-missing, copyright-file-compressed, copyright-without-copyright-notice, description-contains-invalid-control-statement, binary-without-manpage, md5sums-lists-nonexisting-file, file-missing-in-md5sums, no-upstream-changelog, no-homepage-field 1: Uploads to the Emdebian Grip suites/queues need to be restricted to blavet.debian.org only. Maintainers must not be able to upload directly to the Emdebian Grip suites by mistake. (I can easily make the upload use SSH instead of ftp if that helps with this restriction.) Restricting uploads via the Emdebian signing key will work for binary uploads but the original signature on the .dsc is unchanged (because re-signing it causes changes within the dsc which would cause collisions because the filename has not changed). -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
