Will this fix the entire bug report or only the fail2ban part? Would it be possible to configure the fail2ban server to accept fail2ban-client connections from a non-root user? Can you verify that your issues are still present in the munin plugins that can be obtained from Debian experimental? Your help is appreciated, thanks!
