Iceowl and iceowl-extension don't share any configuration data. I agree
that at least a migration dialog would be nice though.
Could you take this up with upstream on bugzilla.mozilla.org since this
looks like a feature request and this would give you prompter feedback
without having me in the middle. Also see:
