Right. I was able to reproduce this using the netinst CD, answering 'norwegian', 'norway', 'norway - latin1', then aborting the DHCP configuration and setting some bogus manual IP configuration. I selected Main-Server only as the profile. The installer continues without any errors and one end up with a broken Main-Server. Just to be clear and for future reference. The netinst installation _require_ Internet connection to work properly. The natural place is in the debian-edu-profile script in the debian-edu-profile-udeb package, where it already try to use the Internet and know if it is working.
