A fairly ordinary squeeze install with the regular squeeze iceweasel and
flashplugin-nonfree was also experiencing intermittent crashes which
seemed to be associated with closing pages (tabs or whole windows) with
flash content (video or game type content).

It recently became a lot more reproducible (maybe every other close of a
flash content crashed) and therefore annoying.

I followed the instructions at http://mozilla.debian.net/ and upgraded
to the backport of "release"
  iceweasel/squeeze-backports uptodate 9.0.1-1~bpo60+1
and have just closed 10 flash-containing pages on the run without a
crash. Bit early to say completely fixed but certainly at least a
significant improvement here.
