Hi,
It seems 1.96 is an evolving version, but the snapshot I picked up last
week compiled just fine on my i386 sarge system (I used the nice download and
compile script that was mentioned in the beginning of this bug report).
I further read that the big thing holding back the 2.0 release was that
it didn't compile on all compilers. I now see the Blizzard 2006
challenge says that there will be some kind of release January 2006, but
it doesn't say of what (I've just asked).
