Package: amanda-common
Version: 1:3.3.0-1+b1
Severity: important

Using amrecover to recover some backup-date causes the error:
"Can't talk to tape server: service amidxtaped"

I think exactly the same problem was reported before in the amanda-users
mailling-list by Toomas:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/amanda-users/message/70762

The patch committed there fixed also my problem.

But Jean-Louis wrote, he has commited the patch to the 3.2 branch. But I am
using 3.3 and still having the problem. May be its a branching-problem, or
something like this.

I set this bug to important, even if a patch is availabe, because for the
average user (whichout the knowlegde to apply the patch) recovery is not
available with the below mentioned versions of amanda and perl.

Thank for your work
Thomas
