I agree. It would be great to have a supported USE_SYSTEM_VTK option
in Paraview. In that case Paraview could use the same stable VTK
library as all the other projects (~20 in Debian).

I will patch Debian's VTK package if necessary to make this happen.
Patches are welcome.
