Package: picocom
Version: 1.4-3
Severity: normal

Minicom 1.4 takes baud rates above 230400 as illegal, although many USB-serial
converters and their drivers (at least FTDI and PL2303, but many more)
implement higher speeds, e.g. 460800 or 921600 baud. The problem is fixed in
newer versions of picocom, the recent version is 1.6 from June 2010, which
fixes some more bugs, too. (See http://code.google.com/p/picocom/).

Please include an updated version in sid and/or testing.
