The whole communication regarding that patchset is in the bug report, so there
isn't any reason that I know about.  I'm not currently using xvnc4viewer
however, so I wouldn't know whether there are problems, or even if the
patchset still applies.  I'm willing to update the patch if necessary, but
only if there is a current demand, e.g. somebody says "I'd like to have this",
or if there is a good chance that it's going to be applied this time.
