Package: libnfsidmap2
Version: 0.25-1

Because of incompatibilities with my NFS server, I'm running an old version of nfs-common (1:1.1.2-6lenny2). When aptitude attempts to install libnfsidmap2, it gets the following error:

(Reading database ... 239571 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace libnfsidmap2 0.24-1 (using
.../libnfsidmap2_0.25-1_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement libnfsidmap2 ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libnfsidmap2_0.25-1_i386.deb
(--install):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man5/idmapd.conf.5.gz', which is also in
package nfs-common 1:1.1.2-6lenny2
Processing triggers for man-db ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libnfsidmap2_0.25-1_i386.deb

My reading of Debian Policy, section 7.6.1, is that this should be indicated by "Breaks" and "Replaces" relations from libnfsidmap2 to versions of nfs-common old enough to still contain that file. This would allow APT to work out that it shouldn't try to upgrade libnfsidmap2.
