It contains the architecture independent files, with nearly full functionality, but at reduced speed, and without documentation and extras. We intend to eventually create multiple binary packages from a single source package: pyformex: architecture independent functionality pyformex-lib: compiled C acceleration libraries (arch. dep.) pyformex-doc: documentation (arch. indep.) pyformex-extras: non-essential programs and libraries (arch. dep.)
