Hi Sérgio, > /etc/gdm3/greeter.gsettings comes with a gtk-theme line commented out > but using it doesn't work and gives an error message at boot:
> Starting GNOME Display Manager: gdm3No such key `gtk-theme' in schema > `org.gnome.desktop.background' as specified in override file > `/tmp/gdm-Z27HEQ/yy_debian.gschema.override'; ignoring override for > this key. I just had a look at my /etc/gdm3/greeter.gsettings file, which contains: # Theming options #[org.gnome.desktop.interface] #gtk-theme='Adwaita' Looking at your error, does it say "org.gnome.desktop.background" instead of "org.gnome.desktop.interface" on your system? Or, more likely, you still have an older version of the gsettings file [1] that still contained that [org.gnome.desktop.background] header a few lines above the gtk-theme line and you only uncommented the "gtk-theme=Adwaita" line, but not the "[org.gnome.desktop.interface]" line above that. If my suspicion is right, this bug isn't really a bug but a PEBCAK (that might be fixed by some extra comments, though that might not be really needed I guess). In any case, the greeter.gsettings file itself does work: I used it to override the background image by adding: [org.gnome.desktop.background] picture-uri='file:///etc/gdm3/thinkpad.jpg' Gr. Matthijs
