Package: rkhunter Version: 1.3.8-10 Severity: normal Hi,
For some time (last months?) I get an email from the daily cron job: | Subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on frost.DOMAIN | [..] | /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter: | WARNING: gnome-keyring:: no socket to connect to When I execute the script from an X session I don't get this warning. This is somehow important due to the spam-like daily email from rkhunter. Thanks ------ root@frost:~# sh -x /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter + RKHUNTER=/usr/bin/rkhunter + test -x /usr/bin/rkhunter + . /etc/default/rkhunter + CRON_DAILY_RUN=yes + CRON_DB_UPDATE=yes + DB_UPDATE_EMAIL=false + REPORT_EMAIL=root + APT_AUTOGEN= + NICE=0 + RUN_CHECK_ON_BATTERY=false + [ -z 0 ] + [ -z false ] + [ -x /usr/bin/on_ac_power ] + on_ac_power + [ 255 -eq 1 -a false != true ] + mktemp + OUTFILE=/tmp/tmp.C3b0R6QvdW + /usr/bin/nice -n 0 /usr/bin/rkhunter --cronjob --report-warnings-only --appendlog + [ -s /tmp/tmp.C3b0R6QvdW -a -n root ] + rm -f /tmp/tmp.C3b0R6QvdW -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages rkhunter depends on: ii binutils 2.22-3 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.41 ii file 5.09-2 ii net-tools 1.60-24.1 ii perl 5.14.2-6 ii ucf 3.0025+nmu2 Versions of packages rkhunter recommends: ii curl 7.23.1-3 ii iproute 20111117-1 ii lsof 4.81.dfsg.1-1 ii ssmtp [mail-transport-agent] 2.64-5 ii unhide 20110113-3 ii wget 1.13.4-1 Versions of packages rkhunter suggests: pn bsd-mailx [mailx] 8.1.2-0.20111106cvs-1 pn libdigest-whirlpool-perl <none> pn liburi-perl 1.59-1 pn libwww-perl 6.03-1 pn powermgmt-base 1.31 pn tripwire <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/rkhunter changed: CRON_DAILY_RUN="yes" CRON_DB_UPDATE="yes" DB_UPDATE_EMAIL="false" REPORT_EMAIL="root" APT_AUTOGEN="" NICE="0" RUN_CHECK_ON_BATTERY="false" -- debconf information: rkhunter/apt_autogen: rkhunter/cron_db_update: yes rkhunter/cron_daily_run: yes -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
