Package: postgresql-common Version: 128 Severity: wishlist When creating a new cluster with pg_createcluster, specifying a port number with -p/--port that is already in use ought to be allowed if --start-conf is not "auto". A use case would be if I'm planning to upgrade the old cluster to the new one with pg_upgrade and won't have them both running at the same time. Maybe issuing a warning would be enough in this case.
