Upstream is now at version 3.2, which uses PETSc 3.2. My petsc package is ready and awaiting uploads of scalapack and mumps to fix bugs 653610 and 653032 and you can find it at: http://lyre.mit.edu/~powell/petsc/ (it will probably be in the archive by this weekend).
