Package: letodms Version: 3.2.0+dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
it would be nice to demote the strong dependency against mysql-server down to recommended/suggested. I'm running many small web services isolated with OpenVZ/LXC and they all use a single, central MySQL instance - however, due to letodms depending on mysql-server this package is installed any time a new install of letodms is being done although it will never be used. Would that be possible? cheers Carsten -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-openvz-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages letodms depends on: ii apache2 2.2.21-3 ii apache2-mpm-prefork [apache2] 2.2.21-3 ii dbconfig-common 1.8.47 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.41 ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.3.8.0-1+b1 ii libjs-jquery 1.7-1 ii libphp-adodb 5.12-1 ii mysql-server 5.1.58-1 ii mysql-server-5.1 [mysql-server] 5.1.58-1 ii php-letodms-core 3.2.0-1 ii php-letodms-lucene 1.0.0-1 ii php-log 1.12.3-1 ii php5-gd 5.3.8.0-1+b1 ii php5-mysql 5.3.8.0-1+b1 letodms recommends no packages.
