Package: tvtime Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Hitorical upstream for tvtime hasn't seen any acivity for years. Keernellabs.com staff had adopted it [1]back in 2009 to update it to current video (v4l2) and audio (ALSA) APIs but that effort also got somwehat stale. Efforts are directed now to contribute with a new [2]attempt to update the code base, this time hosted in the linuxtv.org git repos in a way similar to what's been done with xawtv3. That new upstream source is incorporating patches from several Linux distributions, even some from Debian. Current version is 1.0.4 and is already far more stable and useful than any of the dowstream copies.
