Package: libprotobuf-java
Version: 2.4.1-1
Severity: minor

libprotobuf-java depends on default-jre | java5-runtime. I have two questions:

1. Given the package only contains libraries and no executable programs is
default-jre required at all? Most other lib*-java libraries I've seen
don't have any dependencies on a JRE.

2. If it is required, does it need to be the full JRE, or can the headless JRE
suffice? I wouldn't expect libprotobuf-java to require libraries for
   graphical interfaces.
