Can you please import that patch to our bzr repo? I'm currently very
busy with academic work, and that change doesn't seem important enough to
have it in Debian right now, but I'd rather have it in the branch so
that we don't forget about it for the next upload.

Michael, I don't think there is much point in importing the debian
packaging in the lcd4linux svn. Jonathan and I are maintaining it in a
seperate bzr, which can be found here:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~siretart/lcd4linux/debian/changes
