since you talked about the background picture, I played a bit: > awsetbg -i display doesn't set the wallpaper properly. Transparency for awesome and apps like aterm and xchat won't work right with it. Consider installing feh, Esetroot (from Eterm) or fvwm-root (from FVWM) and I'll use them instead. > sudo aptitude install feh # reload awesome config > unagi # live is good ... :-) Maybe you could somehow make use of awsetbg to test for a supported wallpaper setter? Unagi opacity still feels a bit to slow for everyday usage. But I look forward for the expose!
