Two months. Long holidays ;) > cupsys-driver-gutenprint replaced cupsys-driver-gimpprint over two > months ago. Did you do a complete upgrade, so your system is 100% > up-to-date? Yep, 100% updated. > Checking both gimp-print 4.2.7 and the current gutenprint releases, > neither have support for the Z45 model. Which driver/model were you > using with gimp-print? Which driver/model are you using with > Gutenprint? I was using Z43 with no ppd hacking at all. Default options. I tried suppling the older ppd (changing version numbers so that Gutenprint won't complain) to cups, but all I get is: E [22/Sep/2005:12:13:26 +0200] PID 2857 stopped with status 22! And the debug output wasn't helpful at all. So I guess at some point someone fucked up support por Z45. Someone having the same problem (googlin 'z45 gutenprint'): http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/history/356598 (last post, this time it's the Z43 the one failing) Thanks, Alberto -- Alberto Gonzalez Iniesta | Formación, consultoría y soporte técnico agi@(inittab.org|debian.org)| en GNU/Linux y software libre Encrypted mail preferred | http://inittab.com Key fingerprint = 9782 04E7 2B75 405C F5E9 0C81 C514 AF8E 4BA4 01C3
