Subject: alleyoop: GConf error and segmentation fault
Package: alleyoop
Version: 0.9.0-2
Severity: normal

After upgrading from sarge to etch, alleyoop does not work for me
any more. On startup, I get the following message on the command line:

GConf Error: Type mismatch: Expected `string' got `bool' for key
/apps/alleyoop/valgrind/memcheck/leak-check
Speicherzugriffsfehler

"Speicherzugriffsfehler" is the standard way of saying "segmentation
fault" if your language is set to German.

I guess the problem is that the data type of the GConf entry changed
between version 0.8.2 and 0.9.0, even though this should not cause
the program to segfault.

Executing
 gconftool --unset /apps/alleyoop/valgrind/memcheck/leak-check
solves the problem for me.

Best regards,
 Zeno
