Mariusz, In debian, you can set the kernel logging level to receive debug messages by adding the following line in /etc/syslog.conf
*.debug /var/log/messages Please refer http://www.aboutdebian.com/syslog.htm for more information on logging level in Debian. Also while loading the mptbase.ko, could you please pass this module parameter too?
