Hi,

what do we actually expect from installing with recommends? Which
additional errors do we expect? I'd assume we get less errors reported
because some stupid maintainer script may use something from a
recommended package unconditionally.

Also, what would an installation candidate package look like? Can we
test a package where a Recommends is failed-testing (or something
similarily worse), but all Depends are
successfully-tested/essential-required?

Are we looking for co-installability problems? File overwrites? (Isn't
that already covered by EDOS?)
