Package: doodled Version: 0.6.7-10 Severity: normal When starting doodled with
/etc/init.d/doodled start the pid file /var/run/doodled.pid is not created. I've checked that the daemon is actually started with pgrep doodled and a PID is returned. Also because the PID file is not created, attempting to stop the daemon with /etc/init.d/doodled stop fails to stop the daemon. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages doodled depends on: ii doodle 0.6.7-10 Desktop Search Engine (client) ii gamin 0.1.10-2+b1 File and directory monitoring syst ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdoodle1 0.6.7-10 Desktop Search Engine (library) ii libextractor1c2a 1:0.5.23+dfsg-7+b2 extracts meta-data from files of a ii libgamin0 [libfam0] 0.1.10-2+b1 Client library for the gamin file ii portmap 6.0.0-2 RPC port mapper doodled recommends no packages. doodled suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
