Package: doodled
Version: 0.6.7-10
Severity: normal

When starting doodled with

  /etc/init.d/doodled start

the pid file

  /var/run/doodled.pid

is not created. I've checked that the daemon is actually started with

  pgrep doodled

and a PID is returned. Also because the PID file is not created, attempting to
stop the daemon with

  /etc/init.d/doodled stop

fails to stop the daemon.
