Package: syslog-ng-core Version: 3.3.1.dfsg-1 Severity: minor The `debian/rules' file sets an explicit default-modules list
override_dh_auto_configure: SOURCE_REVISION=$(shell dpkg-parsechangelog | sed -n "/^Version:/s/^Version: /$(shell lsb_release -is)\//p") \ dh_auto_configure -- \ ... \ --with-default-modules="affile,afprog,afsocket,afuser,afsql,basicfuncs,csvparser,dbparser,syslogformat" \ ... However, the `afsql' module is not included in the `syslog-ng-core' package. The result is that one gets a warning Plugin module not found in 'module-path'; module-path='/usr/lib/syslog-ng/3.3.1', module='afsql' from `syslog-ng -s' every time the daemon starts or is reloaded. Given that the logs are rotated nightly, this results in nightly cronspam, which is vexing, and hides actual problems among the unnecessary warnings. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages syslog-ng-core depends on: ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libcap2 1:2.22-1 ii libevtlog0 0.2.12-5 ii libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-4 ii libnet1 1.1.4-2.1 ii libpcre3 8.12-4 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.0e-3 ii libsyslog-ng-3.3.1 3.3.1.dfsg-1 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-21 ii util-linux 2.19.1-5 Versions of packages syslog-ng-core recommends: ii logrotate 3.7.8-6 Versions of packages syslog-ng-core suggests: pn syslog-ng-mod-json <none> pn syslog-ng-mod-mongodb <none> pn syslog-ng-mod-sql <none> -- [mdw] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
