Package: libsmbclient Version: 2:3.6.1-2+b1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Updated to 2:3.6.1-2+b1 and could no longer access samba shares through dolphin Downgrading back to 2:3.5.11~dfsg-4 restores the functionality The only server I have to test against sends the passwords as plain text. (The following lines are in my smb.conf [global] client lanman auth = yes client plaintext auth = yes to make it work, the server is running squeeze) Updating all of the kerberos libraries with libsmbclient does not fix the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libsmbclient depends on: ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libcap2 1:2.22-1 ii libcomerr2 1.42-1 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.9.1+dfsg-3 ii libk5crypto3 1.9.1+dfsg-3 ii libkrb5-3 1.9.1+dfsg-3 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.25-4+b1 ii libtalloc2 2.0.7-3 ii libtdb1 1.2.9-4+b1 ii libwbclient0 2:3.6.1-2+b1 ii multiarch-support 2.13-21 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 libsmbclient recommends no packages. libsmbclient suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
