please stop providing “xserver-xorg-video-”, the versioned Provides stopped after squeeze, but -geode is still trying to provides it (and fails to do so, given the related files are gone). If you want to keep the same packaging so that it builds everywhere with no modifications, I guess tweaking that part would do the trick: | install/xserver-xorg-video-geode:: xdepends | echo "xserver:Provides=xserver-xorg-video-$(VIDEOABI)" >> debian/xserver-xorg-video-geode.substvars Like doing that only when VIDEOABI isn't empty. This broken Provides is also seen in the -geode package I just uploaded to squeeze-backports (but it didn't look like that should have been a showstopper).
