Dear Maintainer,
I have VMware Workstation 8.0.1 64-bit installed and when I got a message for 
packages to update, I did then udev & acpi failed during script execution.
My system boots and works fine, but I'm unable to use apt for anything as the 
packages won't install/upgrade.

When running apt-get upgrade, the mess starts here:
