Source: debian-installer-6.0-netboot-powerpc Severity: normal Tags: d-i I downloaded the latest netboot image for powerpc64 (30.11.2011). I installed Debian Wheezy successfully and after reboot I was presented with Wheezy without sound. To get sound working I added the following kernel modules in /etc/modules to make sound work:
snd_aoa_i2sbus snd_aoa_fabric_layout snd_aoa_codec_tas snd_aoa_codec_onyx After clicking Headphone and unmuting sound in GNOME ALSA Mixer I had perfect sound. It would be nice if the debian-installer would install these kernel modules in /etc/modules automatically.
