Package: fossil Version: 1:1.20-2 Architecture: hurd-i386 The hurd-i386 fossil 1:1.20-2 build failure seems, at first blush, to be due to a hardware fault on the auto-build machine. See below.
(I built fossil 1:1.20-2 manually on the hurd-i386 host exodar.debian.net, with dh_auto_test disabled because the sqlite3 package is not installed on that machine and is needed by the testing scripts, and it built fine. So it seems to me very likely that either the below is indeed a hardware fault, or there is some hurd-i386 kernel issue that breaks the sqlite3 program, or there is a bug in sqlite3 on hurd-i386 that manifests by printing "disk I/O error". I could work around either of the later problems by disabling testing on the hurd architecture, but am loath to do so unless there is no alternative.) --Barak. https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=fossil&arch=hurd-i386&ver=1%3A1.20-2&stamp=1319560730 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Debian Package Auto-Building Build log for fossil (1:1.20-2) on hurd-i386 fossil → 1:1.20-2 → hurd-i386 → 2011-10-25 16:38:50 sbuild (Debian sbuild) 0.61.0 (23 Feb 2011) on mozart.debian.net ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ fossil 1:1.20-2 (hurd-i386) 25 oct. 2011 16:24 ║ ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ Package: fossil Version: 1:1.20-2 Source Version: 1:1.20-2 Architecture: hurd-i386 [...] /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t2 t3 t4 test merge3-104 OK ***** End of merge3: 0 errors so far ****** ***** merge4 ****** /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t2 t3 t4 /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t3 t2 t5 test merge3-1000 OK /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t2 t3 t4 /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t3 t2 t5 test merge3-1001 OK /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t2 t3 t4 /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t3 t2 t5 test merge3-1002 OK /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t2 t3 t4 /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil test-3-way-merge t1 t3 t2 t5 test merge3-1003 OK ***** End of merge4: 0 errors so far ****** ***** merge5 ****** res= /build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/fossil: use --repository or -R to specify the repository database Error: near line 3: disk I/O error Error: near line 11: disk I/O error [repeat for a few pages] Error: near line 390: disk I/O error while executing "exec sqlite3 m5.fossil <$testdir/${testfile}_repo.sql" (file "/build/buildd-fossil_1.20-2-hurd-i386-DjXh49/fossil-1.20/test/merge5.test" line 54) invoked from within "source $testdir/$testfile.test" ("foreach" body line 8) invoked from within "foreach testfile $argv { set dir [file root [file tail $testfile]] file delete -force $dir file mkdir $dir set origwd [pwd] cd $dir protOu..."
