Trying to use lsb-build-cc3:

        printf '%s\n' '#include <stdio.h>' \
                'int main(void) { puts("hi"); return 0; }' >test.c
        lsbcc test.c

Result:

        unrecognized gcc version: "4.6"

But the build goes through.  Known problem?
