Hi Masahito I wonder if you agree - if you are short of time - on a NMU by the Debian Perl Group on this? I ask, since it affects already some packages (e.g. devscripts' uscan, spamassassin, mrtg, munin, ...).
Would you agree to have the package, and other Perl modules team maintained in the Debian Perl Group? See [1]. This could help keeping the module up to date, as it is quite important package.
