If my memory is any good, my co-maintainer requested to not run autoconf during build. I'm all for doing that. But I haven't heard anything from him for ages ... I have no idea if he's still interested in it or not. A recent mail on the list suggests that config/known-dwarf.awk needs gawk. I don't know if that script is run now, if it it I would need to add a build-depends on gawk. And I should probably take a look at why it's not. But feel free to upload that NMU.
