It was quite easy to backport synergy 1.3.7 as you said in an earlier email. I have been using it on my two desktops running Squeeze and I have had no problems whatsoever! The bug seems solved in this version. I've been using 1.3.7 since Nov. 7th. If anything comes up, I will let you know.
