It looks like this wasn't fixed. The configure check still returns: checking whether gcc supports x86 inline asm... yes checking whether gcc supports MMX(tm) inline asm... yes The configure script is not updated, only the configure.ac one is. Since you already have a build dependency on automake1.4 and libtool, I suggest also adding one one autoconf and uncommenting the following lines in your rules file: #configure: $(IN_MAKEFILES) configure.ac # autoconf Kurt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
