Hi,
The default configuration for U-A::Mail is:
//Unattended-Upgrade::Mail "root@localhost";
I've changed this to simply "root" to make it work on desktop/laptop
systems were thre is no SMTP server installed. Using "root@localhost"
with a forwarder only sendmail like 'ssmtp' will result in a 5.7.1
code for rejection at the destination SMTP domain.
(the @DOMAIN part of the email is added by default on postfix)
Please change the default to:
//Unattended-Upgrade::Mail "root";
This is disabled by default, thus no impact on default configuration.
