I got the same type of bug for both simage and insighttoolkit. What the build log indicates is that libpng 1.5 is not API compatible with png 1.2. Do the PNG developers have any plans to address this? If not, I suggest you make the two -dev packages coinstallable for some time to ease the transition. Cheers, -Steve
