I've just started looking at this package. It failed to build from source due to missing dependencies on liblzo2-dev and pkg-config.
The dependencies on libtokyocabinet-dev and libfuse-dev need to be versioned (>= 1.4.21~ and >= 2.8.0~ respectively). Also, I believe you don't need to explicitly build-depend on quilt when the package format is 3.0 (quilt). README.Debian starts with the word "Then". One wonders about missing text.
