I'm not sure that the project is (unless i'm wrong) yet under active development. I tried to contact upstream authors a while to discuss about Debian patch and did not have any answer. The OpenBSD implementation (netcat-openbsd) is dual stack and have all the same features that netcat6. netcat6 is still in main for convenience but i think it will be dropped in the future. Anyway, about the bug here, i'll try to investigate a bit next few days. > > Greetings, > Michael > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: wheezy/sid > APT prefers testing > APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (650, 'unstable'), (600, 'experimental') > Architecture: i386 (i686) > > Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) > Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash > > Versions of packages netcat6 depends on: > ii libc6 2.13-21 > > netcat6 recommends no packages. > > netcat6 suggests no packages. > > -- no debconf information > > -- Guillaume Delacour <g...@iroqwa.org>
