Package: jde Version: 2.3.3-2 Severity: important
I am running testing and recently the cedet package got upgraded, which includes semantic. Now jde refuses to start giving the message "The wrong version of Semantic is installed, please install 1.4beta13." Looking at the check at jde.el, it wants to compare that semantic-version is between 1.4beta13 (jde-semantic-min-version) and 2.0 (jde-semantic-max-version). The value of semantic-version is 2.0pre3, which should be between those, but apparently jde's check does not behave correctly here. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages jde depends on: ii bsh 2.0b4-1 Java scripting environment (BeanSh ii eieio 1:1.0pre3-1 Enhanced Implementation of Emacs I ii elib 1.0-11 Library of commonly-used Emacs fun ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a-1 The GNU Emacs editor ii java-common 0.23 Base of all Java packages ii semantic 1:1.0pre3-1 Parser Infrastructure for Emacsen ii speedbar-beta 1:1.0pre3-1 Transitional package ii sun-j2sdk1.4 [java-common 1.4.2+08 Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition, ii sun-j2sdk1.5 [java-common 1.5.0+update02 Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition, Versions of packages jde recommends: ii ecb 2.27-2 Code browser for several languages ii gcj [java-compiler] 4:4.0.1-3 The GNU Java compiler ii gcj-4.0 [java-compiler] 4.0.1-2 The GNU compiler for Java(TM) ii gij [java-virtual-machine 4:4.0.1-3 The GNU Java bytecode interpreter ii gij-4.0 [java-virtual-mac 4.0.1-2 The GNU Java bytecode interpreter ii sun-j2sdk1.4 [java-compil 1.4.2+08 Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition, ii sun-j2sdk1.5 [java-compil 1.5.0+update02 Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition, -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
