Package: seahorse Version: 3.0.2-1 Severity: normal Seahorse keeps asking me for a new keyring password every time I try to access something in the keyring. For example when I start Synaptic. I type in a new keyring password but it won't remember it. The next time I start Synaptic for example, it will ask for a new keyring password.
Evolution also keeps asking for my imap and smtp passwords which it used to get from the keyring. I try to save my imap password in Mail Notification Properties and I get a popup error saying the password could not be saved to the keyring. There is something wrong with the whole keyring process. I tried deleting all files in the directory .gnome2/keyrings and letting gnome rebuild the keyring but that didn't help any. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0.110819 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages seahorse depends on: ii gconf2 2.32.4-1 ii gnupg 1.4.11-3 ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libavahi-client3 0.6.30-5 ii libavahi-common3 0.6.30-5 ii libavahi-glib1 0.6.30-5 ii libc6 2.13-21 ii libcryptui0a 3.0.2-1 ii libdbus-1-3 1.4.16-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.98-1 ii libgck0 3.0.3-2 ii libgconf2-4 2.32.4-1 ii libgcr-3-0 3.0.3-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.6-1 ii libgnome-keyring0 3.2.0-2 ii libgpgme11 1.2.0-1.4 ii libgtk-3-0 3.0.12-2 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.25-3 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.34.3-1 Versions of packages seahorse recommends: ii openssh-client 1:5.9p1-1 Versions of packages seahorse suggests: pn seahorse-plugins <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
