That's correct. The one and only reference, namely the ISO-3166 Maintenance Agency, indeed has "Republic" capitalized: http://www.iso.org/iso/newsletter_vi-5.pdf We sometimes have such errors because the ISO-3166 MA does not provide a full authoritative database, so we have to dig around their newsletter updates and the few lists they have online in order to get the official information. For instance, files provided at http://www.iso.org/iso/country_codes/iso_3166_code_lists.htm do not include non capitalized names. So, any help by our userstospot errors in our interpretation is very much welcomed. Thanks for spotting this one. I committed the fix to git and translations have been preventively unfuzzied.
