the original web page that produced the bug vanished, but it is cached
at archive.org[1]. with that page, it didn't crash with epiphany 3.2
(libwebkitgtk 1.6.1-1), neither with 2.30 from ubuntu (libwebkitgtk
1.3.13).

the reason why i'm not marking this as notfound is that i'm not sure how
much the archive.org version is altered or otherwise different from what
i tried out (should have backed it up myself in the first place). could
someone with an older setup confirm that the bug is present in the
archived version linked below?

david, did your patch make it upstream?

(if either is confirmed, i'd suggest closing this bug)
