I don't understand this bug because: - it doesn't depends on python-gtk2, it just recommends it. You can install it without python-gtk2 or run it without it (if the python-gtk2 is not installed the application will start anyway, not from the desktop menu, but you can start it anyway from a console or a command line, as any other non-graphical app) and - I can not see why this should have a severity of important
