Not quite. gnome-core depends on various gstreamer output packages, but does not appear to depend on gstreamer0.10-gconf either directly or indirectly. Since gnome-core depends on gstreamer output packages, it ought to depend on gstreamer0.10-gconf to support the user's preferred output selection. Please consider adding the dependency there. (Presumably, in a GNOME 3 world, gstreamer0.10-gconf will at some point become gstreamer0.10-gsettings or gstreamer0.10-dconf or similar, but the point still stands.)
