Hi, I've downloaded again form subversion the software, in order to get a clean series of logs and to check possible troubles. In the attachment you'll find the output of the commands I've entered,redirected to a file,ordered in the correct sequence: 1) autogen.sh output -> 1Autogen.txt; 2) configure output -> 2Configure.txt; 3) make output -> 3Make.txt
A note regarding the last two file:
4aCheckinstall.txt is a copy of the prompts translated to English (mine
is partially in Italian);
4bCheckinstall.txt is the output of Checkinstall launched as root.
