Today I've installed rekonq under my Debian Wheezy box with GNOME environment I prefer. Just out of curiosity, I read that it's a fast and lightweight web browser, so I wanted to try it :) When I launched rekonq initially, then I could see a dialog box with a following message: Configuration file "~/.kde/share/config/kdedrc" not writable. Please contact your system administrator. I've uploaded the screenshot at TinyPic, maybe it will be helpful for you: http://tinypic.com/r/5a3z3c/7 Fortunately the issue is not serious. When I clicked "OK" button, then rekonq started and worked fine for me. Please note that the problem doesn't occur for the second and next rekonq's launches.
